The Purrrrrfect Wave, Meowie Wowwie!

The Superhero Surf Series, which includes Batman, Superman, Spiderman, Catwoman and Wonder Woman, was inspired by my own emotional experiences surfing over the last 20 years of my life. Not only has surfing been the most challenging sport to master (and a master I am not), but also the most emotionally and spiritually rewarding sport that I have ever participated in. It might be hard for those who have never caught a wave to understand this emotional comparison, but for me the best way to express how I feel when I catch a wave is to compare it to what it might feel like to be superhuman, to be a superhero flying high, on top of the world!!! Think about it, how stoked would you feel to have super powers. Well, try riding a wave and you will understand what I'm talking about. It's pure power, thrill and exhilaration!
