Easily in my top 3 favorite artists of all time, Jimi Hendrix is very much responsible for shaping my life and art. There are few artists and bands out there who can truly shock your conscious when you hear or see their work for the first time. Hendrix not only blew my teenage mind the first time I listened to the Jimi Hendrix Experience, but he still continues to blow my mind. I credit Hendrix for helping me to cross over from the world of Heavy Metal and Hair Bands to Classic Rock, Psychedelic Rock and Blues.
